The current version throws an IllegalArgumentException when no authentication or privacy password is set in SnmpContextv3Pool, regardless of whether authentication or privacy is used. The problem doesn't appear in SnmpContextv3. The patch for this problem can be found on http://snmp.westhawk.co.uk/patch/index.html We'll wait until more bugs have been reported before wrapping up a new release. Sorry for any inconvenience. It now runs without a glitch. We submitted an advisory to CERT, which should appear in their Vendor Information list soon.
